      Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Location: OSU Center for Health Sciences - 1111 West 17th Street


  The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is designed for health care personnel whose daily occupation demands proficiency in the knowledge and skills needed for the resuscitation of the newborn.

The standards for the NRP Provider course are based on the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations.

The NRP Online Examination, 6th Edition is required to be completed prior to participation in the NRP skills and simulation review and testing. A copy of the NRP Online Examination completion certificate must be presented to the instructor the day of the simulation testing.

Employees who enroll in this class, will be assigned the NRP Online Examination via eLearning two weeks prior to the simulation testing. Non-employees can purchase and take the exam at: Click Here for Link. The exam verification will expire 30 days after you have completed your examination.

Each attendee will be assigned a two hour time slot during the above specified time. You will be notified of that time slot by email approximately two weeks prior to the class date (highly recommend an email address be submitted by going to the top of your personal page to "My Account " for communication purposes).

The course is intended to be taught to Pediatricians, Family Practitioners, Emergency Physicians, Obstetricians, Nurses and Respiratory Therapists.

Registration begins at 0745 with class set to begin at 0800

OSU Center for Health Sciences located at 1111 West 17th Street, Tulsa OK 74107. Please park in the north parking lot and enter through the main entrance on the northwest side of the parking lot and enter through the main entrance on the northwest side of the building and security will direct you to the classroom.

***If you are unable to attend this course and fail to notify the Education Department of cancellation within 48 hours, you will be charged a fee of $50. If you have any questions regarding the course, please call 494-1190.***
